A message from the chairman
Welcome to Stockton-on-Tees Crime prevention Panel website. We are a registered Charity that delivers crime prevention schemes throughout the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees.
We were established in August 1997, soon after; in April 1998 we encompassed the Auto Crime Committee and received National recognition for an operation involving a decoy transit van provided by the Panel.
The Panel has grown from strength to strength and the key aim is to work in partnership with the public and private sectors to promote and contribute to the reduction of crime and victimisation across the borough of Stockton on Tees, some of which you can see as you continue through the website.
The Panel members are volunteers who work in partnership with the Police and Local Authority to deliver projects which impact upon the quality of life of communities and businesses.
Like many other voluntary organisations, we rely heavily on funding to continue to achieve our aims and objectives. Local businesses are an integral part of the community and can play a significant role in working together to build safer communities in which people can live and businesses prosper.
